When asked why she participates in this event, Melinda said “The Fighting for Women with Fashion event will be a great night of fun for all of us that participate, as models or attendees. But, more importantly, we are getting together to support a meaningful community organization and mission. As women attorneys and physicians sponsoring the event, some of us likely have, or know someone who has, experienced domestic violence or sexual assault in their lifetime. I am proud to participate in this event and to contribute in any way to help support and further Safe Alliance’s mission of providing hope and healing to those impacted by domestic violence or sexual assault.”
