North Carolina Lawyers Weekly has named WLC’s own Heather Culp to its annual “Leaders in the Law” list.  The list honors North Carolina’s most influential legal professionals who have gone above and beyond in their profession and their community.

In addition to practicing law for over 20 years, Heather volunteers with local bar associations, most notably and recently serving as the 2017-2018 president of the Mecklenburg County Bar.  She served on the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Bar Association and North Carolina Bar Foundation (2015-2018).  She also volunteers with Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy and Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc., handling cases for people who would otherwise be unable to afford representation.  Heather chairs the 2018-2019 Access to Justice Campaign to raise funds to benefit these two local pro bono agencies.

Congratulations Heather!
