The Mecklenburg Bar is seeking nominations for its “Young Lawyer of the Year Award” – The deadline is April 22, 2019
The last four recipients of this award have been WLC members!
– WLC Deadline: We need information by April 8
– Details:
o The Award recipient will be selected based on outstanding general overall contribution to the MCB, the practice of law, the community, a client or the recipient’s firm or organization, with an emphasis on professional contributions that further the purposes and objectives of the MCB and the YLD.
o To be eligible, the nominee must practice law in Mecklenburg County, meet the definition of a “Young Lawyer” as defined by the MCB YLD, and be a member of the MCB YLD.
o Recipients have shown outstanding contributions to (1) the Bar, (2) the practice of law, (3) the community, (4) the recipient’s clients, and/or (5) the recipient’s firm or organization. A special emphasis is placed on professional contributions that further the purposes and objectives of the MCB and the YLD.
